Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Participating in a challenge of any type, calls for you to search deep within yourself, for ways to complete the challenge.  You must decide you will go forth, go through and not quit. This writing challenge has been just that–a challenge.

But I will prevail, I will go forth, I will write 31 days in October.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Defined as, “a call to take part of a fight, as a battle, a duel, or a difficult task or problem.” This #write31days is definitely a challenge.  I can’t relax; I am always contemplating what I will write about the next day.

Hitting publish is a triumph everyday.  For about an hour.  And then, it is back to, “what will I write about tomorrow?

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

I have successfully written fourteen blogs in fourteen days, this being my half way point at fifteen blogs.

Mentally tired and weary.  Not from the writing itself, because I love to write and doing so everyday is t as much of a challenge as blogging everyday.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

There is so much more to blogging.  You have to edit the pictures perfectly for social media marketing.  You have to write for SEO, search engine optimization. You have to worry about word count, categories, tags, titles, external links internal links.  Am I boring you yet?  It bores me a bit.  But all this has to be perfect in order for the blog post to be successful.

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” -L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

Enough of that–lets talk fall.  Thirty-One Days Of Fall Feels is the title and subject of my blog series.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

I am going to recap the last fourteen blog posts today, link to them for your ease (and that internal link stuff) and also fill these pages with gorgeous pictures of fall to please your eyes. Thank you again for reading, one or all, I always love and appreciate my readers.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

October One had me excited for pumpkins so naturally, I wrote about the round orbs that I love so much three months out of twelve, on Day One.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

On the second day of October, I reposted an article that I wrote for The Every Girl Journal about pumpkin farming and what I learned about nature.  This was the year I really fell in love with pumpkins and this was the day, Day Two, I wrote about it.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

The third blog post in the writing challenge was about fall, but how fall weather and the spirit of fall feels. I felt it in New York City on fall evening and I will never forget how it made me feel. Read about NY and fall feels on Day Three.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

The fourth day in this glorious month, my parents came to town to spend the day with us.  Tired from the day, so on Day FourI wrote a short, but sweet, blog post about our day AND CUPCAKES!!

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Because we went to the silos with my parents, on Day Five, I wrote about how wonderful Fall At Magnolia Market is and why you should visit.  The silos are wonderful anytime (except the heat of the summer!) but pumpkin cupcakes is a great reason to visit, right?

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Day Six was also a short post.  I list ten of my favorite fall quotes!

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Mums are a big part of my fall décor and my fall feels so I wrote about mums on Day Seven.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Do you love fall candles?  I love pumpkin candles and I start burning them in September.  I list five great smelling candles on Day Eight. I have one burning now. Day Eight of the writing challenge is all about fall candles.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

One of my favorite blog posts in this writing challenge is Day Nine I write about finding fall décor at your grocery store.  Decorate natural and then you can eat your décor!

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Day Ten had me wanting to snuggle and get cozy in my fall blankets! Do you decorate with blankets?

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

My new favorite color of pumpkins are white!  They go with everything and give your décor a PoP inside and out! Day Eleven was all about white pumpkins!  With pumpkins, white is the new orange!

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

On Day Twelve, I took a slight turn from fall and fall feels.  I had a new front door installed and it had my all sidetracked.  There are pumpkins in a lot of the pictures.  Read about my new happy door here!

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

Have you ever explored your own city?  Found new places to experience?  Fall is a great time to do this and I highly suggest it.  You don’t need to travel, you can explore at home! Day Thirteen gives you ideas to get you exploring your own city.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

And then we come to Day Fourteen.  I remember and look back on fun days of trick-or-treating with our kids in our neighborhood with all our friends.  Fun times.  I love memories of Halloween past.

Fifteen Days of A Writing Challenge

So that takes us to today, Day Fifteen, the recap post.
