World Psoriatic Arthritis Day-How PsA Makes Me Feel

Psoriatic Arthritis came into my life last year, but actually long before.  October 29 is World Psoriatic Arthritis Day. I want to share with you what PsA is and how it makes me feel.

I want to get real with Psoriatic Arthritis.  I don’t want sympathy because there are far worse things I could have. And, I am thankful for my health. But, I want to get real and show you, with my words, what is like to have this disease.

World Psoriatic Arthritis Day-How PsA Makes Me Feel

World Psoriasis Day is a day conceived by patients, to bring international awareness and a voice for the 125 million people who suffer with Psoriatic Arthritis and/or psoriasis.

My Perfect Fall Morning

My perfect fall morning involves sleeping in, cool weather, coffee and my pups. I include my husband, on these perfect fall mornings, on the weekend.

I love sitting outside, watching my weenie dogs and my lab run around the yard on a crisp morning. They always have a lot of energy, without the summer heat. The squirrels busy gathering acorns and pecans and my pups are busy chasing them.

I Love Fall–a poem by Dedra Davis

I love fall.

~a poem by Dedra Davis

I love fall.

I love fall.

The way it streams in the windows with the sun dancing on the floor.

The way the sun is begging to be invited in.

I love fall the way the leaves are more on the ground than in the trees,

and allow more light to filter through for you.

I love fall.

I love fall.

The way the temperatures drop ever slightly.

I love fall because the humidity is replaced with freshness;

the air is not as heavy against your face.

I love fall.

I love fall.

The way the leaves dance with the trees.

They dance and sway to nature’s tune that only they can hear.

I love fall.

I love fall.
Austin Avenue, downtown Waco, in the fall

There is a new color scheme that takes over the earth. Mother nature redecorates for the new season.

I love fall the way the colors of summer are replaced with golden hues and it all seems new.

It’s as if the earth changes the blankets and pillows on the couch for fall.

I love fall.

I love fall.

The outside seems more inviting as we enjoy autumn’s festivities. Nature invites us outside by luring us to fresh, golden beauty and the fresh, crisp air.

I love all the feels of fall.

I love fall.

I love fall

Today,  for the #write31days writing challenge, I wrote a poem.  I used to write poems in college and thought I would try it again.  I hope you liked it.  Simple and sweet.  And short.

One day, I will publish my poems in a blog post.

I love fall; the way the leaves dance with the trees. #ilovefall Click To Tweet

Football In The Fall-The Sounds Of Fall

Fall has many aspects.  Fall has many feels. Fall means many things to me–pumpkins, fall weather, fall candles, and football.

In my blog series for #write31days writing challenge, titled Thirty-One Days Of Fall Feels, I have written about the sights, tastes and all the fall feels. I even covered the smells of Fall in my post about fall candles.

Today, I am thinking about the sounds of fall.

As I sit in front of my computer, blank screen, thinking what I will write today for the writing challenge, I hear football in the background.

Real Talk-The Ups And Downs Of Blogging

Today, I am being real.  Today, I am being authentic and talking about the stress of blogging in a writing challenge. Today, I am writing about digging deep and the ups and downs of blogging.

I love to write.  It gives me great joy.  But, no matter what activity gives you joy, when it becomes something you must do, have to do, and not something you want to do, that activity can become a dread, a burden.

Real Talk-The Ups And Downs Of Blogging

This is the second year I have participated in the #write31days writing challenge. You have to write and publish a blog post everyday for 31 days.  The month of October.
